C.A. “Charlie” Langford, Sr. began his quarrying career in the 1940’s in Tennessee, opening multiple operations across the state. In 1956, he seized an opportunity in Guntersville, Alabama, and leased the site that remains our home today. That June, our plant began producing crushed limestone – marking the start of decades of service to the region.

In 1961, Mack Langford (Charlie’s youngest son) joined the business, helping solidify the family-run culture that still defines us.
